Italy Trip Information Session Set for October 9th

This past May and June, faculty Clemente Botelho, Tony Tarantini and Lisa DiNatale led 30 students from Bachelor’s programs in Illustration, Animation and Interior Design during Sheridan Bachelor Programs @Italy – a unique study abroad opportunity. (The summer program is available to all Sheridan arts students working toward a Bachelors degree.)

An exciting display of works representing the process and production of the 2013 cohort is now on display in the main A-wing hallway display cases.

Italian Art and Culture is a degree elective directed by Clemente Botelho (Bachelor of Illustration). Based in Florence, the group explored the museums, palazos, market places and private studios of Florence, Rome, Bologna and the Tuscan countryside before ending the 37 day adventure in Venice- investigating the historical heritage of the sights, but with an emphasis on the resulting contemporary and vibrant culture.

An information session for the 2014 course trip is being held Wednesday October 9, 6:30 pm in Rm. B124.
