Portfolio Assessment Day Oct. 21

The Faculty of Animation, Arts and Design has organized a portfolio day to assist any interested current Sheridan students to prepare their portfolios to apply for our Bachelor programs in Animation, Illustration, Design, Game Design, and Photography, as well as our Crafts and Design programs.

This Portfolio Day is intended for our current students. We are also hosting a Portfolio Day on November 16th, as part of Open House, which will be open to external applicants.

The Portfolio Assessment Day is meant to give students a chance to show the real decision makers their portfolios in their rough state, and then get some feedback on how the portfolio can be improved before they apply. It is scheduled for the Monday of our October reading week, so stick around! The day will begin at 10am in the SCAET wing with a thorough presentation by Bachelor of Animation faculty about their application process and what they are looking for in portfolios, and then from 11am to 1pm all the programs I mentioned above will be set up at tables in SCAET to take questions.

From 11am to 3pm, the Bachelor of Animation faculty will be seeing students in one-on-one portfolio review sessions. These sessions will be first come, first serve, with numbered tickets being given out to students as they arrive.
