International Photography Awards Announces Winners of the Competition
International Photography Awards (IPA) has announced the winners of One Shot: One World competition:
Vladimir Kabelik was Awarded an Honourable Mention in One Shot: One World Competition – One World – Places category for the winning entry “Manitoulin Shore”.
About the winner: Graduate of FAMU (Academy of Film and Television Arts) in Prague, Czechoslovakia, MA. Works as a documentary film producer and educator. Published in LENSWORKS, B&W, CANADIAN CAMERA, THE LUMINOUS LANDSCAPE, KINO, FOTOGRAFIE and other art magazines. A member of CAPA (Canadian Association for Photographic Arts). Vladimir Kabelik is represented by MARCIA RAFELMAN FINE ARTS, Toronto (www.mrfinearts.com). Kabelik was full-time faculty at Sheridan for 30 years until his retirement in June 2014, teaching in Sheridan’s film programs. He remains adjunct faculty in Advanced Film and TV.
