Sheridan at the Oscars: Big Hero 6 to be screened this Friday

The final screening in our series honoring the Oscar nominated animated films by Sheridan alumni will be Big Hero 6 this Friday in the SCAET Auditorium starting at 6:30 p.m. The screening is open to students, staff, faculty and alumni. Students are invited to create their own Baymax character from 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. prior to the screening. Grilled cheese will be served.

Alum Chris Williams who directed the film was nominated for his second Academy Award and will face off against fellow Sheridan alum members Dean DeBlois (How to Train Your Dragon 2) and Graham Annable (The Boxtrolls) for Best Director at the 87th Academy Awards on February 22nd. Both DeBlois and Annable’s films were screened at Sheridan a few weeks ago. You can join in on the Oscar celebrations using the hashtag #OscarsSheridan and your posts will appear instantly.
