Sheridan Students Return from Ba@Italy Summer Abroad
Did you know that over 300 Sheridan Arts students have achieved credits towards their Bachelor degrees while studying in Italy?
Sheridan’s Bachelor Programs @Italy is a unique study abroad opportunity run annually in the Spring Summer term. Based in Florence, the student cohort explores the museums, pallazos, market places and private studios of Florence, Rome, Bologna and the Tuscan countryside before ending the 35-day adventure in Venice. The students investigate the historical heritage of the individual sites, but integrates an emphasis on the resulting contemporary and vibrant culture.
This past May and June, 26 students from Bachelors programs in Illustration, Animation, Photography, Interior Design and Crafts & Design participated and on view now in the A wing Showcase hallway, is the process and production of their amazing efforts.
Italian Art and Culture is a degree breadth elective directed by Clemente Botelho (BA Illustration) with co-faculty Tony Tarantini (BA Animation).
An information session for the 2018 Course trip will be held Wednesday, October 18 at 6:30 PM in RM B125.
