Sheridan’s Craft and Design program celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year! Throughout 2017, the faculty is organizing a series of events which will highlight both the program’s proud history and the exciting future of the recently launched 4 year Honours Bachelor degree. Since graduating from the Honours Bachelor of Photography program in 2016, Elijah Monroe has been an active member of the Sheridan community and beyond. A member of the Cayuga tribe, Elijah was raised on the Grand River Reserve #40 of the Six Nations and is currently working as the Research Assistant for Sheridan’s Centre for Indigenous Learning and Support.
An alumna of the UTM and Sheridan Art and Art History joint program, Breanna Shanahan is an MFA candidate at Concordia University and an artist working in drawing and sculpture. Her work has been exhibited in project spaces and galleries in Montreal, Toronto, Oakville and Mississauga. She has participated in an artist residency at the Living Arts center in Mississauga, and is one of six members of the artist collective 13,450 Sq. Ft. Her upcoming show will be held in Art Helix space, New York in June. Read More
