Angela Pan and her student AACE Award

The 2014 AACE Student award given to Sheridan graduate Angela Pan for her short film Change.

Sheridan College and the Faculty of Animation, Arts & Design are proud for graduate Angela Pan’s 2014 Applied Arts student award. Applied Arts contests are judged by panels of highly regarded industry professionals and experts, in a rigorous process developed over our twenty plus years of awards experience. Every entry is scored independently by each judge, based on creative merit, technical excellence and suitability for end use. And for the first time this year, the Student Award was judged online by an international panel of judges.

Her award winning film Change was described like this:

A man walks in the gloomy city shadowed by the cloudy sky. He is cold and lonely, his mind filled with flashbacks of his sad and unsuccessful life. Rain falls, he looks up in despair. A string suddenly falls, lands on his face, and takes him onto a journey that will change him.

Once again we would like to congratulate Angela on her wonderful achievement, and thank Animation faculty member Chris Walsh for all of his contributions.
