Sheridan College will have a significant presence at Toronto’s 21st Annual Fan Expo Canada at the Metro Toronto Convention centre, which begins tomorrow and lasts until Sunday September 6th. The Faculty of Animation, Arts and Design will have three booths with seven programs including Advanced Special Effects Makeup Prosthetics and Props, Makeup for Media and Creative Arts, Technical Production for the Performing Arts Industry, Honours Bachelor of Game Design, Honours Bachelor of Animation, Honours Bachelor of Film and TV and Advanced Television and Film.

On display, and roaming throughout the floor will be various creatures designed by students in the Advanced Special Effects Makeup, Prosthetics and Props. Look for a life-size dinosaur (species “raptor”) and an inventive frog – among a few others.

Fan Expo Canada showcases a large range of comic books, science fiction, fantasy, film and television, horror, anime, manga, animation, toys, collectible card games and web entertainment. For more information visit Fan Expo’s website.
