Dinosaurs and minotaurs and giant frogs oh my!

The Faculty of Animation, Arts and Design ended yet another successful weekend at Fan Expo Canada with their most significant presence to date. Sheridan had one of the largest and most imposing booths that promoted seven programs including Advanced Special Effects Makeup Prosthetics and Props, Makeup for Media and Creative Arts, Technical Production for Theatre and Live Events, Bachelor of Game Design, Bachelor of Animation, Bachelor of Film and TV and Advanced Television and Film.

Advanced Special Effects Makeup and Makeup for Media and Creative Arts program coordinator Ann Callaghan discussed Sheridan’s turnout saying “Most of our faculty team regularly visit Fan Expo on an annual basis and it seemed evident that the target demographic of those that visit this popular event would be attracted to the kinds of work produced by students in the Advanced Special Effects Makeup, Prosthetics and Props and the Makeup for Media and Creative Arts program, and indeed, many of our Faculty of Animation, Arts and Design program,” Callaghan said.

Fan Expo Canada showcases over 1000 exhibitors each year and sprawls over 750,000 square feet. Congratulations to everyone who helped make this happen.
