Sheridan’s Honours Bachelor of Animation program released seven films that were featured on Supernova‘s live website today (September 10th 2015), preceding their event to be held on September 18th, 2015. The “Animated Film Lounge” was created with the help of Animation professor Nancy Beiman and showcases current Sheridan students and post-graduates who worked on various films as part of their 2015 Capstone projects.

Supernova is a free one-night art installation event in Burlington that seeks to engage a wide public audience in the experience of exceptional works of contemporary installation/new media art, within the context of spaces not typically associated with viewing art. In addition to these 30-plus installations, programming includes live music, a meditation lounge, animation projects and more. It opens next Friday September 18th at 7:00 PM until midnight. This year the events art installations will be juried by three highly respected arts professionals.
