Sheridan Gallery’s latest exhibit Higher Degrees of Investigation, ran from October 21 to October 31. It featured the work of our faculty who completed work on sabbatical, or as part of their MFA work.

Featured in the show were artists Marco Cibola, Bachelor of Illustration, who graduated with an MFA from OCAD, David Joron, co-ordinator for Visual and Creative Arts, graduating with an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts, and Chris Somerville, faculty in Bachelor of Animation who is graduating with an MFA from Savannah College of Art and Design. In addition were faculty members returning from sabbatical: Alex Murphy, Bachelor of Interior Design who spent a year in Florence, and Kathleen Hearn, Communications, Community and Information Technology who spent time in Argentina.

The work was diverse, rich and contemplative, forming a stunning tableaux of various media and investigations, from wall-painted installation, digital projections, smaller-scale multi-media painting and film.
