Sheridan College’s Open House and Portfolio Review day

Sheridan College held an Open House on Saturday, November 14th at the Trafalgar Campus. The Faculty of Animation, Arts and Design (FAAD) also held a Portfolio Review which saw lines quickly fill up with interested applicants. Faculty from our high demand programs, such as Bachelor of Design, Interior Design, Crafts and Design, Animation, Illustration, Photography, and Game Design were on hand to review portfolios to applicants and provide them with valuable input.
The Faculty of Animation, Arts and Design also had many booths featuring student work. Applicants were impressed. Kyle Diab, a student who has completed four years of study at McMaster and is currently considering Sheridan’s Illustration program, said how impressed he was by the hands-on approach and committed faculty.

“It’s been a great day coming to Sheridan;s Open House with my family. I’ve always heard great things about programs here at the Trafalgar campus and today confirms that for me, especially relating to faculty members and advisers here,” he said. “Not only have they answered my questions, they have shown me great examples of work. The opportunity to speak with program coordinators about what coming to Sheridan could mean for my future has been highly beneficial. They’ve made a lasting impression.”

A big thanks to all of the student advisers and faculty members who helped make Sheridan’s Open House a success.
