Two short films from Sheridan’s Animation programs will headline the upcoming 14th annual Canada’s Top Ten Film festival. The selections were announced on December 1st, as both “Tomonster” and “Never Stop Cycling” will compete in the festival with other films from all over Canada. The event is presented by TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival). New this year: Canada’s Top Ten lineup features TIFF’s Student Film Showcase, now billed as Student Shorts, to shine a spotlight on the next generation of homegrown talent which includes two student films from Sheridan. The Canada’s Top Ten Film Festival celebrates and promotes contemporary Canadian cinema, and is intended to raise public awareness of Canadian achievements in film. The event will run from January 2nd to the 11th.
Sheridan College’s own Chris Walsh, professor for the Bachelor of Applied Arts and Animation program, released the latest trailer for his upcoming horror short film “The Shutterbug Man”.
